RAID Pro Training offers the CAVE 1 INSTRUCTOR course, aimed at Instructors who are active Full Cave (Cave 2) divers who wish to take a step forward in their technical career and become Cave 1 RAID Instructors.
This course prepares the candidate to safely and excellently teach the Cave 1 RAID course, aimed at teaching divers who are entering the world of cave diving, always within RAID's high quality standards and teaching philosophy.

PREREQUISITES
What you need to participate
Candidates interested in taking the CAVE 1 INSTRUCTOR must:

Be at least 18 years old.

Present current Rescue, CPR Training and Oxygen Provider certifications.

Certified and with Open Circuit RAID Instructor status.

Certified instructor in RAID Nitrox and RAID Deep 40.
-
RAID Cave 2 certified diver or equivalent.
-
Submit proof of at least 100 hours of logged cave time.
-
Certified Instructor in Rescue Breathing/CPR/BLS Training and Oxygen Provider.
-
RAID Cave courses must be completed with a diver-approved O2 kit and field first aid on site.
-
Present a diving medical examination approved by a certified diving doctor.

Provide proof of liability insurance, where applicable.

Where prerequisite proof is documented, it must be presented to the Cave Instructor Trainer for approval prior to any in-water training.
REGISTRATION
Mandatory before the Program
All CAVE 1 INSTRUCTOR candidates MUST register on the RAID website and join the RAID PRO TRAINING Facility before enrolling in the program. Also, add a passport-sized photo to your RAID profile.
Once this is completed, RAID will grant you access to the required online courses. It's advisable to do this as soon as possible to allow time to complete the quizzes and exams for the online course.

CAVE 1 INSTRUCTOR participants will be required to provide the following:

Liability Insurance – Only for locations where required by law

Mandatory before the Program
Once registered online, RAID will open all the necessary materials to operate as a Crossover Instructor Trainer .
The CAVE 1 section and the CAVE 1 INSTRUCTOR section are mandatory. This section must be completed before the course.
Any other equivalent specialty programs will be included in your RAID profile (proof required).
Each candidate must bring their own laptop or device to the Crossover program.

Para manter o status de Instrutor Ativo, a RAID exige que todos os instrutores da Sidemount concluam 10 mergulhos em Sidemount fora do treinamento por ano.

Apresentar um perfil de Gerenciamento de RISCO no Local de Mergulho.

O curso de Instrutor de Sidemount da RAID é estruturado em duas partes:
1. Teoria (Online) e Workshop Presencial

Acesso vitalício ao manual RAID de Sidemount.

Quizzes e exames online.

Foco em:

Filosofia RAID aplicada ao ensino técnico.

Configuração correta de equipamentos.

Técnicas de balanceamento, trim e propulsão.

Gerenciamento de gases e resolução de problemas.

Metodologia de ensino da RAID para sidemount.

Geralmente realizada em 2 a 3 dias (pode variar conforme desempenho e agenda do Dive Center).
